Your Fly-in Luxury Namibia Safari begins in the vibrant city of Windhoek where you will be transferred from your hotel of choice to Eros Airport. Here, you will board a light aircraft flight and journey over the central highlands and ancient desert realms to the Sossusvlei Desert Lodge airstrip in the NamibRand Nature Reserve. On arrival, your guide will welcome you and transfer you to your lodge. Set against the backdrop of Sossusvlei Desert Reserve, the luxurious Sossusvlei Desert Lodge offers guests a secluded retreat on the border of an International Dark Sky Reserve, so you are assured a stargazing extravaganza. Explore the world's oldest desert on specialist-led scenic 4x4 drives, guided desert walks and quad-bike tours. You will also have the opportunity to visit Namib Naukluft National Park. Home to some of the tallest sand dunes in the world, you will enter the Park gates at sunrise to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft and shadows accentuate their towering shapes and curves.

Wake up and enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the desert. Your guide will meet you and transfer you to the nearby airstrip for a light aircraft flight to Mowani Mountain Camp. The flight will be via Swakopmund for a short stop. You'll catch a birds eye view of Namibia's captivating Atlantic coastline dotted with the haunting shipwrecks, crowded seal colonies, abandoned diamond camps and glittering lagoons of Walvis Bay. The secluded Mowani Mountain Camp is hidden amongst the towering boulders that make up the Damaraland and is the perfect base to explore this historical region. Discover the ancient rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, witness the desert adapted wildlife in Aba Huab River Valley and embark on the walking safari in the Damaraland desert in search of rhino and elephant.

This morning you will have an early departure from Mowani Mountain Camp as you make your north towards the southern border of Etosha National Park. Located in the privately-owned Ongava Game Reserve, Anderssons at Ongava offers guests accommodation in luxury chalets with modern decor. There are a total of 20 chalets.
Sharing the southern boundary with Etosha National Park, the prolific 30 000-hectare private Ongava Game Reserve is considered one of the top private game reserves in the region, enjoying global recognition for exceptional conservation, groundbreaking research and exciting safari experiences. The landscape is characterised by vast open plains dotted with salt plans and abundant wildlife. Visitors can easily access Etosha through Andersson's Gate in the south.

You will have 2 game drives included into Etosha National Park with your private guide which allows you to see stunning landscapes and witness Namibia's wildlife in this popular national park. They will be a morning and afternoon game drive on your 2nd day at this fabulous lodge.
Etosha National Park is a vast 22 270 km2 of saline desert, savannah and woodlands, and is one of the largest parks in Africa. The definitive feature is the Etosha Pan (“Great White Place”), a vast, shallow depression of approximately 5 000 km2. Of the 114 mammal species found in the park, several are rare and endangered, such as the Black Rhino and Black-Faced Impala.

Today marks the final day of your Fly-In Luxury Namibia Safari. After a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to the wilderness as you board your flight to Windhoek. You will be transferred either to your accommodation of choice in the city or to Hosea Kutako International Airport for your onward journey home.
