Experience the magic of Africa on board a luxury floating hotel on the Chobe River. Experience uninterrupted views of the African landscape in comfort and elegance. Activities include game viewing, fishing, birding, photo safaris, cultural tours and guided baobab land outings. Get up close and personal with huge herds of elephant, buffalo, lion, crocodile, zebra and more that are drawn to the water. You'll also see a huge variety of birdlife and plant life as you breathe in the African air around you.
The Zambezi Queen is more a floating boutique hotel, than a houseboat. It offers luxury accommodation in the form of 10 standard suites and four spacious master suites, all with outer decks with uninterrupted views of the beautiful African landscape. Facilities include a library, pool, lounge, dining area, bar and security.
Standard Suite: Features include a king-size bed (convertible to twin), private balcony, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom (shower only). Two of the Standard Suites are triple rooms.
Master Suite: Very spacious. Features include a king-size bed (convertible to twin), two private balconies, complimentary WiFi, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom (shower only).
Dining: Our staff have a passion for creating sophisticated meals suited to discerning palates and dining aboard the Zambezi Queen is a culinary experience in its own right. Using seasonal ingredients sourced from local markets, meals consist of a full English breakfast, a buffet lunch and a choice of two plated menu options for dinner.

Our three smaller Chobe Princesses offer a relaxing and intimate river safari experience with excellent and ever-changing river views. Listen to the soft grunt of hippo as you watch for elephant at the water's edge - all from the comfort of your king-size bed. The entire houseboat can also be booked exclusively. Standard and Superior Cabins are available. The top cabin has an elevation that's excellent for wildlife spotting. Facilities include a pool, lounge, dining area, bar and security.

Dining: You get 3 delicious, hearty meals a day, along with drinks and snacks in between. For breakfast we offer a choice of a fresh continental buffet or hot English breakfast. ITINERARY
The Chobe Princess houseboats and Zambezi Queen are moored in various locations on the Namibian side of the Chobe River. Road transfers to and from Kasane International Airport are included in our rate. You can also choose shared or private road transfers at an additional cost from Victoria Falls International Airport, Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (formerly Livingstone Airport) and Katima Mulilo Airport. One of our representatives will help you with with the immigration procedures. if you have come by car, secure parking can be arranged for your vehicle/s next to the Kasane Immigration Office in Botswana.
Our itinerary is flexible so while we have a range of activities on offer, you can choose just how much you want to pack into your holiday or how relaxed you want to be. We depart from and return to the same point, navigating roughly 25km of the Chobe River weather permitting.
Day 1:
If you arrive with the 13:00 and 14:00 transfers, you’ll be served lunch, while if you’re transferred at 15:00 or 16:00 you’ll be served a selection of snacks. Once all our guests have boarded in the late afternoon, and if the weather permits, we’ll go on a sunset cruise in search of some big game. This is the perfect time of day to make the most of that golden glow of the African sunset by getting some iconic shots of the animals as they gravitate towards the river before night falls.
Back on board, you will have time to freshen up before meeting your your host with a welcome drink. After taking in the spectacular scenery, you'll make your way to the dining room where you'll be served a delectable three-course plated dinner along with an excellent choice of paired wines. Finish off with an espresso or nightcap at the bar before retiring to the night sounds of Africa.
Day 2:
We offer a range of morning activities to choose from, depending on the type of holiday you're searching for. Perhaps you want to enjoy a water-based safari or a village tour on the Namibian side of the river? Or perhaps you’d prefer a spot of bird watching or fishing instead? You may even decide to simply remain on board as the elegant Zambezi Queen glides its way along the banks of the Chobe River.
After your morning activities, enjoy lunch on board while using your unique vantage point to spot wild animals and drink in the expansive views. Join our guide in the afternoon for a water-based safari on a tender boat where you can get up close to an array of wildlife, including some of the 120 000 elephants for which the Chobe is well known. After a delicious dinner, settle down for a restful and tranquil night in your luxurious suite.
Day 3:
Enjoy a morning cruise during breakfast as you do your last bit of animal spotting and take some memorable pictures. Bid our crew a reluctant farewell and, if required be transferred to the appropriate airport. For those entering Botswana, we will take you via tender boat to the Namibian Immigration Office. Once you’ve had your documents stamped you’ll be transferred via tender boat to the Kasane Immigration Office, where you’ll have your documents stamped once again before entering Botswana.

In the evening, you're in for a treat. Enjoy our traditional African dinner, served with festive African singing and dancing. You can even join in the festivities if you feel like it!
Day 4:
